- ¡¡¡¡According to the Announcement of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation on the Approval and Release of Six Group Standards, including the Technical Specification for Green Design Product Evaluation of Furniture Adhesives (No. 02 of 2021), the "Technical Specification for Green Design Product Evaluation of Titanium Dioxide" (T/CPCIF 0088-2021, T/CNCIA 02008-2021) and "Technical Specification for Green Design Product Evaluation of Iron Oxide Pigments" (T/CPCIF 0089-2021, T/CNCIA 02009-2021) drafted by the China Coatings Industry Association were officially released on February 3, 2021, and implemented on May 3, 2021.
¡¡¡¡On June 30, 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology formulated the "Industrial Green Development Plan (2016-2020)", proposing to establish a standard system for industrial green design products, carry out green design pilot demonstrations, formulate green product evaluation standards, and strive to create 100 green demonstration parks and 1000 green demonstration factories by 2020, promote and popularize 10000 types of green products, and preliminarily form green supply and industrial chains in major industries. On December 25, 2016, the General Office of the State Council issued the "Implementation Plan for the Extended Producer Responsibility System" (Ting Zi [2016] No. 99), proposing a full lifecycle system. In accordance with the requirements of the State Council and the deployment of "Green Manufacturing 2025", the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will deeply implement the concept of green development, build a green manufacturing system, promote the formation of green production methods, actively promote green design of industrial products, improve product competitiveness, enhance the quality and efficiency of supply, and carry out green design pilot demonstrations and formulate green product evaluation standards during the 13th Five Year Plan period.
¡¡¡¡Under the unified deployment of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the guidance of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, the China Coatings Industry Association has carried out the creation of a green manufacturing system for the coatings industry during the 13th Five Year Plan period. A series of green design product evaluation standards have been developed, including water-based building coatings, water-based wood coatings, cathodic electrophoretic coatings, metal oxide mixed phase pigments, titanium dioxide, and iron oxide pigments. More than 50 types of coatings and pigment products from Jiabao Chemical Group Co., Ltd.,Xiangjiang Coating Technology Co., Ltd., and Hunan Jufa Technology Co., Ltd. have been selected for the list of green design products by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, playing a good demonstration and driving role. At the same time, the China Coatings Industry Association has released the "Evaluation Requirements for Green Coating Parks" during the 13th Five Year Plan period, and the evaluation standards for green factories in industries such as coatings, titanium dioxide, and iron oxide pigments are also about to be released. This has laid a solid foundation for the green development of the coatings and pigments industry during the 14th Five Year Plan period.
